Description
Simple solder control for cleaner bench work.
The Solder Spool Stand is made for electronics benches, repair stations, hobby workspaces, and small shop setups where loose solder rolls can get in the way. It gives the spool a dedicated place so solder feeds from a consistent position instead of sliding around the bench.
This listing is for the 3D printed stand only. The solder spool shown in the photos is used for scale and demonstration, and is not included.
The angled side supports keep the spool lifted and easy to see, while the front guide helps direct the solder toward your work area. That makes it easier to pull the amount you need, reduce tangles, and keep your bench surface cleaner during soldering jobs.
Its compact footprint fits beside a soldering station, tool tray, parts bin, or project mat without taking over the work surface. The clean industrial shape matches the practical Great Lakes BenchWork style: useful, durable, and built for real shop use.
Each stand is printed in American-made PCTG, a tough copolyester material well suited for functional shop and bench parts. PCTG offers strong layer adhesion, good impact resistance, and a less brittle feel than typical PLA, while maintaining a clean surface finish. It is also a practical choice around a workbench because it handles everyday bumps, handling, and light chemical exposure better than many basic printing materials.
Use it for electronics repair, kit building, wiring projects, small appliance work, model work, or any bench task where a steady solder feed saves frustration.
